ScriptSmith ("the app") is a study app for pharmacy technicians preparing for the PTCE. It is made by Smith Crafts LLC, 365 Dana Road, Newport, OH 45768 ("we"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, and the choices you have. The short version: your study progress stays on your phone, nothing is used for advertising or tracking, and anything you choose to share (a leaderboard name, a pass, feedback) is limited to what you see on screen.
Your first name, test date, flash-card progress, answers, scores, badges, study plan and settings are stored on your device. We do not receive them.
On Android, progress stays on your phone only.
If you use the iPhone app with iCloud turned on, the app also saves a backup of your progress to your own iCloud account, so you can restore it on a new phone. That backup is held by Apple under your Apple account; we cannot see it. You can turn iCloud off for the app in your iPhone's Settings.
If you move your progress with a "progress code", the code is created on your phone and only goes where you paste it.

We do not ask for your full name, phone number, location, contacts, photos or payment details. Purchases, if any, are handled by Apple or Google; we never see your payment information.
The app is meant for adults studying for a professional certification. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
If we change what the app collects, we will update this policy and its effective date, and point it out in the app before the change takes effect.
